New to 2023, our stunning Alpaca Area is now up and running.

Our resident Alpaca’s roam freely, grazing within the paddock. Although visible over their fence to all our guests, the paddock itself is private to those who hire the bell tents within the area.

Depending on availability, guests may also choose to join us in feeding our boys or perhaps taking one of them on our daily alpaca walk. When you sign up to our alpaca walks, you have the chance to meet our beautiful alpaca family up close. They’re inquisitive, good-natured beasts that are sure to make you laugh. And just like humans, they all have their own special personalities.

We’ll give you the lowdown on all things alpaca. Learn about the history of alpacas, their daily routines, and some fun facts about the animals.

Once we’ve haltered the alpacas, it’s time to go exploring by the river; if you’re lucky, we’ll spot some other local wildlife too.
