With the kids daytime party tidied away, it was the turn of the adults to party the night away at the Crown.
There were spooky drinks (never did find out what was in that punch), hotdogs and chips.
The pub hosted the band Face Value, and they really ripped the roof off the place. Dressed in halloween garb their set of massive hits got everybody up singing and dancing the night away. At one point I think a conga sprang up and worked its way around the pub.
Lots of people made the effort to come in fancy dress, it made for an hilarious night. I’m sure there were plenty of sore heads and stories to tell the next day.
